Dear student and family,  

            Hello!   We are a group of 7 students from Spain that will be visiting Des Moines for 3 weeks in September with our teacher and her family who are also from Iowa. 

We have been learning English for about 8 years and we are really excited to go to America to practice and learn more.  We are especially excited to meet American people and make friends that last a lifetime. 

The best way for us to accomplish this would be to stay with American families during our visit.  In this way, we would learn American customs, eat American food, and be able to participate in all of the activities of our American brother or sister: go to school, go to extra-curricular activities, go out to dinner, go shopping, hang out with friends, etc…

            If you are interested in having one of us be part of your family for 3 weeks,  please talk to your teacher to learn more about each of us and to see more pictures OK!
