no last name on the webpage) may cancel. As always, a few students will cancel and a few will enroll over the next few
months. I'll try to keep up informed as we gain or lose travelers.
4. Saturday, I received a LONG
detailed letter from EF President Martha Doyle. Basically, she said that EF would not be raising 2009 prices for students
who have enrolled by 4/30/08. That's you! In the 2007 tour, that price went up $210! I try to plan early
to lock in lower prices. With the current economy and fuel prices, travel gets more expensive almost daily.
5. Thanks again to Dan, Mackenzie, and Jenna! Because those 3 enrolled by 15 Dec 2007, we even received lower
rates that those other groups who waited until now.
6. From a parent phone call: remember,
insurance is an option, and you may sign up for it later. Approximately 25-33% of travelers take some sort of insurance.
